During the connection to lexoffice from Penta, the API integration fully automatically creates an online account in lexoffice with all the parameters needed for correct use (IBAN, name, etc.).
However, as a lexoffice customer, it is possible to create an account manually in the user interface. These accounts are so-called offline accounts.
During the connection from Penta, the API recognizes the already existing IBAN and can connect to this lexoffice offline account and transfer turnovers, but the following restrictions apply:
- The API has no information on which turnovers have already been transferred by manual import (e.g. via CSV files). Here, there is a risk that duplicates will be created by connecting to an offline account.
- lexoffice offline accounts are not able to receive balances. Therefore, this information is not available for the lexoffice dashboard.
- lexoffice offline accounts are displayed as "not connected" in the user interface and can also not be converted into a lexoffice online account.
Important! If you have accidentally created an offline account in lexoffice, we strongly recommend that you delete it and create a lexoffice online account from Penta Onlinebanking.
Step 1
In order to use the Penta account in lexoffice as an online account, the IBAN must not be assigned, i.e. you must first delete your manually created Penta account in lexoffice.
Step 2
Re-establish the connection directly from the Penta account with lexoffice.
